We offer a caring relaxed service for your canine friends

Cuddly Coats was set up at the beginning of 2012 to provide a one-to-one service for your family pet. Here each client is dealt with on an individual basis. If you are lucky enough to have more than one dog, then we will take up to 3 from one family at the same time, otherwise your dog will be the only one in the grooming room, apart from when arriving or departing when you may meet the previous or next client.

Our aim is to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your pet. Puppies are gradually introduced to the noises and equipment and given time to get accustomed to each part of the process. Play time is also allowed when they start to get bored or fidgety – after all, we want them to come back to us again. Older dogs are also given special treatment as we are aware that with arthritis or bad backs standing for long periods of time may be uncomfortable, so we work around their needs. We cater for small to medium dogs (Yorkshire Terrier or Chihuahua to Border Collie, Labrador or Labradoodle and all sizes in between) but can do certain processes on larger dogs – please ask.

We know that people have busy lives and it isn’t always possible to bring your pet during normal working hours so we start at 8am and work into the evening whenever possible.
